The Biodiversity and Ecosystem eScience Conference 2025 brings together researchers, policymakers, and experts to tackle the Triple Planetary Crisis (climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution) through eScience and European Research Infrastructures (RIs).
This year’s conference focuses on how cutting-edge eScience and European Research Infrastructures can work together to develop innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
OSTrails at BEes.
As part of BEeS 2025, OSTrails will contribute to the programme and join the Working Table on European RIs focused on the “Life” component of the Biosphere. Our presentation will highlight OSTrails’ key role in enhancing interoperability across European RIs to enable FAIR-compliant research and sustainable research data management — providing the foundation for smart biodiversity research and next-generation eScience solutions.
The conference will also feature poster presentations, workshops, and training sessions to explore the latest advancements in Virtual Research Environments (VREs) and Virtual Laboratories (vLabs). Early career researchers, including PhD and Master’s students, are especially encouraged to participate.
The BEeS 2025 conference will take place 30 June – 3 July 2025 and is hosted by the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR), Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture (IMBBC).
